"Somebody supposedly said that music is what happens between two silences. Yet I believe, music is what happens inside and beyond silence. Perhaps the music of Bivališča is an exclusive meeting of the silences of the two artists. Two silences that approach each other and create a wide and startling palette of soundscapes; two silences that come together and fall apart with an unusual pulsation. By doing so, the musicians create habitats and occupy them with the narrative strength of sonic poetry, eloquent in laconism, generous in asceticism, and with dedication to their instruments. The album Bivališča is an invitation to an imaginary ambience where olms, fish, pelicans, ants, lapwings, eagle owls and all the forest inhabitants live. It is an open, playful space, where new sonorities are introduced in variety and multitude. The musical elements are every so often joined by fairy tales crumbs we listened to as children. With this gesture, the music gains a somewhat psychoanalytical dimension that creates a reflection of memories and binds the past with the present and perhaps also with the future. Kaja and Szymon are the wizards of Bivališča, creators and inhabitants of these unusual, attractive worlds of oddly beautiful puddles reminding us of Icelandic geysers, worlds that help us rediscover the mythical side of nature through the mysterious fly amphigarics. Nature is a dwelling into which the musicians enter with their art, or maybe the opposite- art is a dwelling into which the musicians deliver their nature. And maybe this is their secret hint to the listener in our oversaturated urban environment. Bivališča is an album that enters into the unique musical universe of Alice in Wonderland, from which the listener does not wish to leave."

Polish pianist plays a "silent song of hope" to benefit the people of Ukraine, simultaneously intense, cathartic, and soothing. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 7, 2022
A visceral LP centered on the subject of death; deft layers of instrumentation that blurs the line between organic and electronic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 5, 2018
Such a wonderfully engaging and atmosepheric set. Lots of space, air, and this timbrous, intimate sensitivity. With a shining heart at its centre. Easily one of this year's finest. Thanks orbonk
